Olivenhain Municipal Water District | Administration and Operations Headquarters Expansion
The Olivenhain Municipal Water District Administration and Operations Headquarters project is a multi-phased renovation and expansion designed to enhance functionality and optimize space while keeping the facility affordable to operate. Led by Sillman Architects, with Brandt Design Group, Inc. as the lead interior designer, this project focused on improving employee workflow, maximizing natural light, and incorporating 21st-century technology to elevate the overall work environment.
The renovation encompasses 14,482 square feet of existing office space, featuring modern space planning for greater efficiency, HVAC system upgrades, enhanced lighting, and improvements to meet ADA compliance standards. These updates bring the facility in line with modern requirements, ensuring a comfortable and accessible environment for all users.
In addition to these tenant improvements, 12,149 square feet of new construction was added, seamlessly connecting the two existing buildings. This new structure includes a welcoming lobby, a cutting-edge 100-seat boardroom, and a vibrant central courtyard, designed to encourage collaboration and foster a more inviting atmosphere for staff and visitors alike.
This strategic expansion and renovation project not only enhances daily operations but also creates a dynamic, modern space that reflects the Olivenhain Municipal Water District’s commitment to sustainability, efficiency, and community service.
